Welcome Back to School
A warm welcome back to you all; those of you who are new to our school and those returning from the Summer holidays. All of the children look so smart in their uniforms and have settled back in to school routines exceptionally well. My first week at Braeburn has been an absolute pleasure and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of the positive comments and warmth displayed. I look forward to working with you all as the school year progresses and the school converts to Academy status.
– Mrs V Logan Executive Headteacher
Now open from 8am Please come to the Main Entrance. As the darker mornings slowly creep upon us, the safety of the children becomes an even greater priority than usual. We will open the playground gates from 8.30am to ensure the safety of all our children.
A meeting has been held with Ebor representatives, Mrs Logan, Mrs Pickering and Mrs Orrah to begin discussions about a Parent Group. An application form will be available shortly for those of you who are interested in supporting the successes of our school and providing a “Parent Voice”

Students have their own student accounts on “ClassDojo” to document and share information about classwork. We are also aiming to be able to use “ClassDojo” to send you messages and post announcements about individual classes.
This is a fantastic way for you to see what your child is working on and we will continue to develop how we use the dojo system throughout the coming year to improve communication, helping you to access your child’s progress and celebrate their successes.

We are delighted to be able to welcome our new Swimming Coach, Miss Whiting to our school. Over the Summer, the pool has had an impressive makeover with a considerable sum of money invested, ensuring that our children, those from local schools, swimming clubs and the community continue to benefit from this fantastic opportunity.
