Hi there, my name is Laura Smith, I am a parent of two amazing young people. I have a son who currently attends Braeburn Primary and Nursery Academy and a Daughter who has previously attended I live in the locally within the community surrounding Braeburn.
I currently work in a local special school, which I find a privilege. I have worked there now for four years and am able to support some amazing students with a wide variety of needs. Before this I worked in an early years setting for fifteen years and within this took on the role of SENCO.
I am extremely passionate about being part of providing opportunities to help each individual child reach their full potential.
In my spare time I enjoy volunteering at cubs (scouts) and make the most of visiting the lovely beaches, woods in the surrounding area with family and friends.
