Our Nursery, ‘Team Bears’
Our Nursery is a 46 place Nursery. We offer flexible sessions to accommodate our individual family needs. We provide a safe and exciting environment in which our children learn and play together, developing confidence and resilience, developing friendships and the ability to cooperate and collaborate with each other. We are a happy team, who love to investigate, explore and learn about the world around us.
What does a typical session in Team Bears look like?
We have now established a ‘Little Bears’ pre-nursery group, where prospective families come to School each Friday for 6 weeks and play with Miss Spivey. This prepares the children and families for Team Bears. “Little Bears” introduces our families to some of our school routines. Together each week, they participate in a check-in, where everyone shares their feelings. The children and parents have opportunities to play and learn with a variety of resources, visit Nursery to play and meet their new team. Each session finishes with enjoying a snack and a story together.
