Reception Baseline Assessment

Reception baseline assessment will happen in the first six weeks of school for children in Reception.

Key Stage 1

End of Key Stage 1 (end of Year 2) are no longer statutory.

Phonics Screening

Phonics screening checks for all of Year 1 children, and children in Year 2 who did not pass the previous year, is planned to take place week commencing Monday 8th June 2026.  These are statutory tests.

Key Stage 2

The Key Stage 2 statutory tests are timetabled from Monday 11th May to Thursday 14th May 2026.

Multiplication Tables Check

The statutory multiplication tables check for Year 4 children will take place between Monday 1st June and Friday 12th June 2026.

We cannot authorise holidays at any time during school terms unless in exceptional circumstances, and it is really important that children are in school during these key dates.
