My name is Christine Wilson. I retired 5 years as a Palliative Care nurse a service I established and was proud to develop over 24 years.
Together with my husband we have lived in Filey for over 40 years. Both our children and now our 4 grandchildren who are still at Primary school have been educated in Filey. Spending time with the grandchildren,gardening and other community activities in Filey life has not slowed since retiring!
I have been a governor at Filey since 2014 and chair for 5 years. Since retiring I have enjoyed the opportunity to spend more time in school at Filey and now at Braeburn. I believe passionately that every child should be given every opportunity to achieve and enjoy their time at school.
